Forest Dangers: This is one of the favourite places that your dog love to explore, the deep forests and the natural woodlands is like heaven to him. There are so many things to uncover, countless of items to be discovered, and being able to indulge in its natural curiousity is most fun for your dog. A forest is full of mammal life, and it is suitable for hunting or trapping. Your dog may be in danger if it is exploring what it should not be.
In the northern part of the US, hunters set traps that are designed to trap furry animals. Woodland dogs may be attracted to the bait they use, and it has caused many unwanted accidents with family dogs. These traps are usually put in ditches where dogs like to explore.
The best precaution to take when your dogs are out roaming the lands is to be well aware of the hunting activities that go on around your area. Even if it is not hunting season, there may still be traps as the hunters and poaches may still be partially active in catching animals. The best safety measure to take is to put a bright orange hunter’s vest around your dog, which is available in certain suppliers. This will help hunters identify your dog as non-prey.
Prairies Chasing: This does not usually strike people as a potential threat, as they are not aggressive creatures and are usually afraid of most people and animals. But the problem is not in the prairies, but in the dogs, for the love chasing prairies.
Dogs do not resort to chasing animals larger than them such as deer or bison, and they will prefer to chaise prairie animals that are small. If possible, they will even chase them up to miles at a time. Some dogs can chase prairies and got lost and never made it home. Some may be wounded along the way, or wandered off too far from home, and perhaps, attacked by a larger, hungry wild animal.
Foxtail Plants: If you have not heard of the foxtail plant, it is a common plant in grassland areas, and is usually located in large fields, or some roadsides. The plant is slender shaped, with long brushy spikes and it has seeds that contain spikes that will embed in the dog if your dog gets tangled up in it. The seeds contain barbs that points backwards, and this design will cause it to push deeper and deeper into your dog’s skin after puncturing and stabbing through the skin. This can cause infections and in serious situations, cause organ failure.

There are thousands of live-bait anglers, who are excellent sportsmen, but the fly fisherman can practice better conservation from the beginning.
Basically, fly fishing is not only one of the fastest growing sports; it is one of the foremost forms of conserving natural resources as well as providing aquatic recreation.
Fly fishing is, very simple when three things are right: you must have a suitable rod; you must get a line to match it; and you must learn correct casting technique.
For people who wish to know some tips on fly fishing, here is a list of some pointers that could help anglers harness their fly fishing skills:
1. Material of the rod
For one of moderate means, and especially for the beginners, hollow glass is advised since it will require less care than bamboo and will not take a set if improperly handled or stored.
2. Line
Your fly casting skill will not progress with a mismatched rod and line. About 99 times in 100, the troubled fly caster has a line much too light to bring out the action of his rod.
That is why it is important to know that on any given rod, the fly fisherman should use the same size line for anything from small trout and bluegills up to the largest sea fish.
In choosing the size line, anglers should get a C level, an HCH double-taper, or a GBF three-diameter. This choice is based on the fact that a high percentage of fly rods bought nowadays are hollow glass, and that a great majority of these works best with lines of those sizes, almost regardless of lengths or weights.
3. The correct casting technique
In casting, it is important to get about 20 feet of line out front. Anglers should always remember to cast a straight line. Avoid jerky movements even if it is on a faster mode in order to do so.
Best of all, the angler should be relaxed because taunt muscles will ruin his casting.
Boiled down, there should be no reason why you should not learn the fundamental principles just as easily as those who now enjoy fly fishing.
Probably, the best and surest way to learn to cast successfully is to spend a day on the stream with some fisherman who is a competent caster.
Lessons learned on the stream are the best tips you can acquire anywhere in your quest for learning fly fishing.

hello everyone! I am a 16 year-old girl who is looking for her first job. I want to know if there are any good tips in looking for a job or maybe interview tips. I am very good with people and solving problems. I have applied for a few jobs ( a local camp ground, 2 grocery stores, a restaurant, and even McDonalds) but no luck! i know it is a bad economy, but there have to be some ways to get a job!
Along with showing your professional capabilities (dress nicely, be clean)
And your social ones (shake hands, smile, be polite, don’t be nervous)
Show that you’re prepared (know your information, have references etc. on hand)
And responsible (go job hunting by yourself, bring your own pen just in case)
Keep in mind answers to questions that the manager may ask you when handing in your application.
What 5 words would you use to describe yourself?
Why did you pick this business?
How would you be an asset to my team?
Keep in mind that the economy IS pretty horrible right now.
I applied to 30+ businesses and went through 4 interviews before getting my first job a year ago.
Don’t be close minded to seasonal work, right now acquiring a summer job would be enough to give you the upper-hand of experience and make that second, more permanent job much easier to obtain.
Good luck (:
Deer Bow Hunt – HUNTINGFOOTAGE.COM
The 2.5 minute video is the conclusion of a 2 week chase for a specific 9pt on 4000 acres in the south Texas brush.
I spotted him on 10-27, but couldn’t get a shot. I sat in my blind overlooking an oat patch more days than I can count trying to get another shot at him. Finally on 11-11, with my buddy Chris in the blind, he returned. The neighbors were dove hunting about a quarter mile away, and I think they pushed him out of his bed and right into our lap.
He was standing quartering away at 21yds and I let the arrow fly. The shot was a bit low and back, but because of the angle, it did the job.

In the world’s most crowded country, Bangladesh, it’s hard to imagine there’s any room for nature. But we discover a unique relationship between man and beast.
Crashing around in a log box, two otters in rope harnesses are desperate to get to their food. A fisherman lifts the lid and out they dive to munch on the fishtails scattered outside their wooden cage. Bengali fishermen use these otters to herd fish into their nets. Every year Bengali menfolk bid their families farewell and sail downstream to catch their fish. With a sharp smack on the bottom, the otters are dispatched into the water and told to swim for their keep! More often than not, they get caught up in the nets and incur verbal abuse from their masters. As crimson sunset falls, the fishermen cook by their fires and the otters curl up in the boxes and go to sleep.
