bobdole546,
You … bobdole546,
You obviously don’t hunt and have never shot a deer. Have you ever seen what happens when you cut a chickens head off, it flaps around for quite sometime, but is it alive?? Keep your comments to yourself unless you know what you are talking about…
OK, nice editing. … OK, nice editing. If you wanted the first thing you see I suppose that is OK. I usually wait a bit longer to let the filed fill up. Bit shaken but a good amateur film. Congrats on the deer. Good game management on reducing the doe herd.
SKIPOLERULES: … SKIPOLERULES: congrats on the harvest! as far as i’m concerned, any shot that drops a deer is a good shot! enjoyed the video, glad to see yall enjoyin a nice afternoon of hunting!
depends on where ya … depends on where ya are as far as what makes a big doe. 160 lbs is a good doe by any standards! im guessing you’re hunting in the midwest?
uh the does and … uh the does and smaller ones have better meat than the big bucks man. i still want a buck sometime but i like the meat that a medium size doe has
It seems I stand … It seems I stand corrected. And you’re right, I’m sort of a newbie when it comes to guns. I just know the bigger the number = the bigger the hole = more expedient exanguination, and thus, an expedited death due to hypovolemic shock. Other than that, I don’t really know much about trajectories, etc other than what my Gramps tells me.
Still gonna carry my .45 because its a bigger number though
Unless you get a … Unless you get a shot going through the brain stem there is no gurantee the animal will not run. People on PCP have been know to fight and fight hard for 5 seconds after having their heart torn to shreds by a bullet.
a 115 lb doe is no … a 115 lb doe is no monster, not by a long shot. I’ve shot 2 that were over 160 with a bow so far this year. She was a small doe, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Tender meat, not gamey. On the other page though…WHY…WHY…WHY!? would you not shoot does? That’s what I go after 90% of the time. Then again, I’m not a head hunter, I’m a real hunter, one that is interested in meat and pelt, not bones.
u guys that shot … u guys that shot this doe are an absolute joke. u sit in a blind all day, then hammer a bambi doe, thats embarrasing. show some resoect and let the bambis and espescially does live. and its pretty sad of how ur impressed with a 120 yrd shot, if you had any kind of skill u could use open sites from there. real hunters with real skill walk fence lines and puch bush not sit all day in full camo.
Anybody know the … Anybody know the name brand on that gun cover? I’ve got a BAR that I want to cover up and my grandpa has one with that same cover on it. I really would like to know where I can find one of those. I’ve never been scared to lay the gun on the ground, but man, that’s some pretty craftsmanship that I would like to take care of. Anyone?
awj03130 a .270 is … awj03130 a .270 is a powerful gun and one of the most flatest shots out there.
bobdole546 your just a moron it was a good shot. I dont care who it is you could shoot right through the deers heart and it could run for like 50 yards.
umm i didnt see … umm i didnt see that deer move at all looked like it was taking a step forward and was shot at the same time id say that was a great shot
you shouldn’t be oh … you shouldn’t be oh so proud of this deer. she was young and she was still kicking after you shot her. that was a terrible shot at a standing broadside from 120 yds. get out on the range before you try hunting again. i was shooting better than that when i was fifteen.
I think she dropped … I think she dropped right away because she was hit in the spine or the aorta which will paralyize a deer, because she was still moving for awhile after the shot.
